I grew up watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and even saw the film, prior to the premiere of the season 1 episode "Welcome to the Hellmouth".
School was not easy for me. I was teased and made fun of relentlessly all through junior high and high school. Btvs gave me something to look forward to and got me through some difficult times, during my adolescence.
My fascination with tv shows dealing with supernatural beings naturally drew me to True Blood. I'm sad to see the show ending at season 7, but I will continue to enjoy the show just as I have Btvs.
