BCBG Maxazria 2004 Silk Halter Search Tips

One of my favorite dresses, Sarah Michelle Gellar has worn, is this silk halter by BCBG Maxazria. So gorgeous! Despite being 10 years old, the dress pops up now and again on auction sites.

The easiest way to find it is to search for the words "BCBG" "Silk" "Halter" and "Dress". And I also click the "preowned" box in the search.

I've had the best of luck with those key words. When a dress is silk, the seller usually likes to put that in the headline. It makes it easier to narrow down the search. I've found this dress on four different occasions by using those key words.

Sarah Michelle Gellar & New York Fashion Week

Here is the near fall captured during the Betsey Johnson Fall/Winter 2014 show at NYFW. Fortunately, the model managed to regain her footing. In fairness, those heels look hella hard to walk in.

Only 85 days left till the Spring / Summer 2015 show for New York Fashion Week! Who else is psyched? I wonder if Sarah Michelle Gellar will make an appearance. If she did, she is most likely to make attend the Rebecca Taylor show since that's one of her favorite designers.

Or perhaps maybe she will check out BCBG Maxazria's latest collection at NYFW. Here is a photo of SMG during the 2007 spring show looking gorgeous as always.

I don't think SMG has attended any recent NYFW shows. Hopefully there will be a sighting of the beautiful actress, this year.

I've tweeted Sarah Michelle Gellar to ask that very question. If she responds, I'll be sure to post her answer.

Sarah Michelle Gellar: BCBG Maxazria

Sarah Michelle Gellar looking amazing in a BCBG MAXAZRIA Spring 2004 RTW Silk Halter Dress she wore on May 16, 2004.

Maxazria made a good choice when they added a slip prior to selling the dress for public wear. Visible panties and nips only work on the runway.

Buffy Likes Her Camisoles

Cute camisoles are a staple of Buffy's daily wardrobe, especially in the earlier seasons. Just match it with straight leg slacks, chunky heels and an oversized cross necklace and you have a complete ensemble. Season 2 would probably have to be one of my favorites, in terms of Buffy's style.

Ever wonder about the cute leaf print top she wears in the season 2 episode "The Dark Age"? That is by another designer favorite, of the wardrobe department, BCBG Maxazria.

A great deal of Buffy's wardrobe seemed to either be D&G or BCBG Maxazria. And who can blame them? Both are excellent brands and are extremely fashionable.

But let's be honest. Wardrobe stylist Cynthia Bergstrom could have dressed Sarah Michelle Gellar in a trash bag and she'd still look amazing.

True Blood: BCBGMAXAZRIA LuLu Cutout Bodice Gown

One of my favorite dresses ever worn on True Blood would have to be the BCBG Maxazria gown Nora wears in S05E09. It's a nice change of from the typical leather ensembles that are usually associated with vampires. A long tradition that most notably began with Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

The BCBG Maxazria Lulu gown is one of those long dresses that you want to buy on impluse, but know you will never have an event fancy enough to wear it. Especially if you are like me and wedding parties are out of the picture, because all your friends are either on their second or third marriage. The horrors of turning 31.

All around, Nora's character has really great clothes. The Elizabeth and James Usagi Dress in S05E11 was also quite darling. Season 5 basically left me wanting to own Nora's entire wardrobe. Tisk tisk. Poor Nora. You and your clothes will be missed, on the show.
