Buffy's Epic Coat From Becoming

Everyone remembers Buffy's epic iridescent green coat from the season 2 episode Becoming. The one she wears in the dramatic scene as she makes her way back to the library. The brand of the coat has been a mystery, until now. Thanks to HplessNostalgic we now know that the coat Buffy Summers wears is by Cynthia Rowley.

Jenny Calendar’s floral Skirt

Who doesn’t love Jenny Calendar’s witchy fashion vibes? Well, at the end of Season 2 Episode 11 “Ted” Jenny can be seen smootching Giles while wearing a beautiful orange floral skirt by the brand DKNY 🩷

Jenny Calendar’s Stripped Cardigan

Ever wonder where Techno Pagans shop? We’ll look no further. I have a clothing spot for you! In season 2 episode 14 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Jenny Calendar can be seen wearing a striped cardigan by the brand Laundry by Shelli Segal.

Buffy's top from "When She was Bad"

 

    In the season 2 episode, "When She Was Bad", Buffy Summers can be seen wearing an adorable top with embroidered fish. The top is by Vivienne Tam and is no stranger to the show, since other pieces by the designer label can be seen in other episodes.

    I couldn't find a photo of the top in the cream / white shade Buffy wears it in, but the top was made in a variety of cuts and colors.

Drusilla & Buffy's Season 2 Negligee

In season 2 of Buffy the Vampire, both Buffy and Drusilla can be seen wearing this gorgeous slip gown. The slip is 40's vintage and the brand is unknown. But here are some detailed photos of the gorgeous negligee.

Drusilla can be seen wearing it in Season 2 Episode (What's my Line Pt 2) 

Buffy wears it during a dream sequence in Season 2 Episode 13 (Surpise).

Buffy Summers - "Lie to Me" Floral Skirt

I made another recent discover in the Buffy fashion world. I found a Rozae nichols top which appears to have the same print as the skirt Buffy wears in the episode "Lie to Me" I suspect that the top was sold with a matching skirt.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to find a picture of a skirt with that print. Trust me, I did many of searches using the Google. But I still suspect that the skirt she wears in the episode is by Rozae Nichols. In the past, both Buffy and Willow have worn pieces by Rozae Nichols, so it's not so far fetch to assume that the skirt is also by the designer.

Cordelia Chase: "I just don't see why everyone's always picking on Marie-Antoinette. I can so relate to her. She worked really hard to look that good, and people just don't appreciate that kind of effort. And I know the peasants were all depressed..."

Sarah Michelle Gellar Wearing Buffy Wardrobe pieces in Interviews

Interestingly enough, Sarah Michelle Gellar can be seen wearing Buffy the Vampire Slayer wardrobe pieces during some of her old interviews. Here are just a few of the instances we found.

This 1997 interview for her film I Know What You Did Last Summer. Look familiar?

If you said "Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered" you may be as big of a Buffy fan as me!

Here is a hard one. The footage on this clip is quite blurry, but can you identify this long sleeve top she wore during her 1997 interview on Vibe.

Rozae Nichols on Buffy the Vampire Slayer

A designer that can be seen featured on a few occasions in Buffy the Vampire Slayer is Rozae Nichols. One of the first spots I notice Sarah Michelle Gellar wearing the designer label was in the season 3 episode "The Wish".

While at the Bronze, Buffy can be seen wearing what appears to be a green, crushed velvet cami by the designer. The top features floral embellishments and a silk trim. The top, is of course, hard to find since it is now considered vintage.

Another Rozae Nichols top can be found worn by Buffy, yet again. In the season 2 episode, "Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered",

In the episode, Buffy matches a scarf with a brown, velvet, Rozae Nichols leather strap cami. Buffy always did have a great eye for fashion.

Angel: "By the way, I really like your dress."

Buffy: "Yeah, yeah. Big hit with everyone."

And let's not forget about good ole Willow

In the season 7 episode, "Lies my Parents Told Me", Willow wears Rozae Nichols from head to toe.


Both the sheer red top and the floral skirt are by Rozae Nichols. For a gal who loves fuzzy sweaters, Will is surprisingly quite the fashion aficionado.

Buffy's Season 2 D&G Leopard Cami

As you may know, it is QUITE difficult to find screen accurate tops worn on the show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. But one of the easier Buffy items to find is the D&G leopard cami she wears in the season 2 episode Ted.

The top is cotton and leopard print. There are similar tops, by D&G, but the one Sarah Michelle Gellar wears has a keyhole tie near the neckline.

Buffy's Top from 2.16 Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered

In season 2 episode 16 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buffy can be seen wearing an adorable brown cami by Rozae Nichols. The top is a silky velvet with leather straps and has a cowl neckline.

Buffy: "Sorry to say, Xand, slaying is a tad more perilous than dating."

Xander: "Well, you're obviously not dating Cordelia."
