Sookie Stackhouse Merlotte Shorts Identified

For those looking to make their Merlotte's uniform completely authentic looking, the teeny weenie, black shorts Sookie wears with Merlotte's uniform is by Old Navy.

The costume department bought a whole bunch of the shorts at the start of season 1 for Anna Paquin to wear throughout the seasons. The shorts, of course, are not easy to find, but here is a glance at the details for those interested in finding it.

True Blood: How to Accessorize like Sookie Stackhouse

One of the aspects of Sookie Stackhouse, that often goes unnoticed, is her adorable accessories. Now seemed like a good time to take a look at some of the pieces Sookie has worn through the years.

While dining with Bill, In S03E012 "Beyond Here Lies Nothin", Sookie can be seen wearing a JCPenney Heart & Bar 10K Tri-color gold bracelet.

This adorable linked bracelet was sold exclusively at JCPenney and is adorned with 10K yellow, white and rose gold. This piece isn't easy to find, but it does pop up, now and again, on Ebay.

Time for necklaces. Upon first meeting Alcide, in S03E03 "It Hurts Me Too", Sookie wears an adorable Butterfly necklace with a blue (possibly green) center and gold chain.

I'm unaware of who made this particular neck, but fortunately, there are a lot of similar alternative options available, online.

Throughout MANY episodes, Sookie can be wearing her favorite pair of earrings. One such episode is S01E02 "The First Taste". It's hard to see from the photo, but the earrings are miniature dangling hearts. Many of Sookie's ensembles wouldn't quite be complete without these delicate earrings.

Who can forget Sookie's memorable sunglasses from S01E01 "Strange Love". Similar sunglasses are fairly easy to find. All it takes is a pair of white frames with dark lenses and presto! You are ready to sunbathe in style, like Sookie. Some really cute, affortable alt. options include this pair by Esprit and this pair by Urban Outfitters.

There you have it. Some of Sookie's most adorable accessories to compliment any outfit. Now you can be just as stylish as the blonde Merlotte's waitress. Which piece of jewelry is your favorite?

Sookie Stackhouse: There's Vampire in Your Cleavage

It's hard to choose a time when Sookie didn't look absolutely fabulous. Pretty much the only time she doesn't look her best is when covered in vampire guts.

So I have a tough question for y'all.

Of any character on True Blood, what do you consider to be the worst fashion moment?

True Blood: Sookie Stackhouse's Floral Prints

I am a total sucker for floral print so it is no surprise that I am drawn to Sookie's fashion choices on True Blood. The dress on the left is from S1E05 and the dress on the right is from S03E05 and S03E06. Both of the dresses are from American Eagle Outfitters. A surprising amount of Sookie's wardrobe comes from that store.

The yellow floral dress is by J. Crew and is worn by Sookie in S01E08. The dress is later given to Jessica who wears it in S02E02, S02E03 and S02E04. The dress was originally marketed as a J. Crew Swimsuit coverup, but is worn as a dress, on the show. Quite a few tend to be listed on auction sites like Ebay. If searching for it, look in the dress and in the swimsuit coverup sections.

While visiting Dallas, TX in S02E04, Sookie wears a yellow, floral cardigan, which is by Delia*s. The cardigan was originally sold in pink floral print as well as yellow. But Sookie only wears the yellow version.

Vampire Bait

My favorite outfit, worn by Sookie, would have to be the infamous floral sundress from the episode "Escape from Dragon House". The dress is a custom piece that was designed specifically for the episode.

The beautiful halter dress highlights her innocence as she is surrounded by fangbangers thinking about "Sex Sex Sex".
